CaPRI strives to run a lean operation, relying on a network-based
approach to keep overheads low.Equipped with a permanent
research staff of three,CaPRI turns to its regional and
global network of researchers when it needs to delve into
specific topics.Yet while this model keeps costs low,it
must be acknowledged that there is a trade- off in running
such a tight ship. It is that network researchers, having
other jobs, cannot be relied upon to ramp up production
as quickly as some of the most pressing topics sometimes
demand.
The administative staff not only bridges the gap between
research and the finished product, but also completes
the day to day functions that are essential to the CaPRI
mission.
