Public Fora

Public Fora represent the outreach for which CaPRI is most noted. CaPRI, according to its ethos of Taking Responsibility, aims to bridge the information gap between researchers and the general public. It is novel for a think tank to seek to influence the wider public through public meetings and communications campaign.

CaPRI has had three public events to date:
The Institute's Launch – December 7, 2006, Emancipation Park
The Report Release – February 22, 2007, Sam Sharpe Square, Montego Bay
Education Reform Public Forum – November 7th, 2007, St. Mark's Anglican Church Hall, Brown's Town, St. Ann
